About

Dan Myers

Financial and operations expertise, applied to AI. Six4Six Insights is built and run by one person — me — after years turning messy financial and operational data into clear, defensible answers across a range of industries. AI is just the newest tool in that same kit.

What I Bring

Not a technologist who learned business — the other way around

AI tools are only as good as the person scoping them. Dan has spent years in the numbers before ever touching a prompt.

Financial & operations analytics

Controller-level financial reporting, KPI dashboards, and AR/collections operations — the kind of numbers that have to hold up when someone questions them.

Data systems fluency

Comfortable inside ERP platforms and messy multi-system exports — the actual shape data takes inside a real business, not a clean demo dataset.

AI tools that ship

Hands-on experience building and running AI-powered dashboards and automation — not just advising on AI, actually building and operating it day to day.

Background

A career built across industries, not just one

Financial and operations roles spanning logistics, health insurance, manufacturing, real estate, and telecommunications. That range includes large organizations with dedicated IT teams, as well as a small business running almost entirely on paper. Most of the businesses I work with today look a lot more like the second one than the first.

Outside of client work, I also manage my own investment fund — so the ownership, cash-flow, and risk tradeoffs I help clients think through aren't abstract to me.

Why This Business Exists

The gap isn't data. It's time and the right tools.

Most small and mid-size businesses aren't short on data — they're short on time to organize it, and short on tools built for how they actually work, not how a big enterprise does. AI is finally good enough to close that gap, but it's useless without business context. So the process starts with getting the context right: audit, organize, then build.

How I Work

A few things I hold to

Build and leave

I'd rather build you something you own outright than something that keeps you paying me. Ownership is the default recommendation on every proposal.

No jargon, no hype

I won't sell you "transformation." I'll tell you what I found, what it's worth building, and what it costs — in plain language.

Right-sized, not generic

The toolkit is flexible, but nothing I build is off-the-shelf. Every engagement starts with an audit of your actual business, not a template.

Let's find what your business already knows.

The first step is a conversation, not a commitment.
